| On Thursday September 26th, 2002 MHFR held a training session on a building slated to be torn down to make room for highway expansion. The 2 story commercial structure was boarded up and a smoke machine created a smokey atmosphere on the 2nd floor with 1 victim also trapped in the building. A normal response to a building like this would be 3 engines, 1 tower truck, 1 rescue, 1 chief, 1 manpower unit, and 1 mobile cascade unit. |
