The Mountain Home Fire / Rescue Department is very pro-active in fire prevention and education. Each year the department visits with thousands of children and adults. The inspection / investigation department is led by Capt. Eddie White. The department has one of the only fire safety houses within the North Arkansas region and utilizes it many times through-out the year. The department also does yearly occupancy inspections of all commercial buildings inside the city, and residences upon request of the occupant.
