Welcome to the Mountain Home Fire Department web site. Mountain Home is located in Baxter County, AR, on the AR/MO border. We are a combination department with 25 career firefighters and 10 paid-per-call "volunteer" firefighters. We run out of 2 manned stations and 1 reserve station operating 5 Pumpers, 1 102' Platform, 1 75' Quint, 1 Heavy Rescue, 1 Mobile Command Center, 2 Haz-Mat Trailers, 1 Confined space / Trench Rescue trailer, 2 Tankers, 1 Mobile Cascade Unit, 1 Brush Truck and 4 Support Vehicles. Services we provide include: Fire suppression, Non Transport EMS with EMT-B level service, Haz-Mat containment, confined space rescue, extrication, trench rescue, high angle rescue, and swift water rescue. We are a Class 3 department with a call volume of 2343 runs for 2016.
