Mtn. Home Fire / Rescue Department not only responds to your calls for fire emergencies, but anytime there is a medical emergency or an injury accident we are there too. Due to the location of our fire stations, and having highly trained EMT-B's on all fire apparatus we are able to reach a scene in a matter of minutes and start providing or assisting with patient care until an ambulance arrives. This is critical in any heart attack or cardiac arrest victim when minutes count. The department currently carries 6 Semi-Automated Defibrillators on fire apparatus, along with oxygen, SPO2 meters, suction units, and other Basic Life Support equipment.
